rem cycles...

my little one is sleeping...and i couldn't help but crawl into my big bed with him...just to watch... the slow movement of his chest with the ins and outs of each breath...the changing of his expressions as his dreams change one to the next...the fluttering of little eyes under closed lids...the changing of positions for comfort...the nuzzles into the soft blanket and pillows...his peaceful perfect face...it's my favorite thing...watching him sleep...it brings me back to this...
